Color Me Pretty Series

Every year fall brings lots of rain and days of gray. Even now, it has been raining heavily for the last few days. Anticipating all this bleak weather to come, I was working on a colorful series of garments -Color Me Pretty, for this fall/winter.

I had so much fun working on these designs, blending colors, creating patterns, and of course knitting it all up. I hope you will find your project as enjoyable.

My little girl is very attracted to bright fun colors. She likes mixing and matching different color yarns I have scattered around, and has been requesting clothes made from the color combinations she chooses.
The colorwork is simple enough for a beginner, yet interesting enough for a seasoned knitter as well.
The Fair Isle design lends itself to many possibilities of various color combinations; my version is just one of them. You can work with as little as one contrast color or with as many as you would like.

Color Me Sweater is worked entirely in the round from the top down.  The sweater has an A-line shape; the lower section features a colorwork design.  The sweater's length is easily customised.

Color Me Pretty Sweater is sized for children aged 1 to 14 years old.

Color Me Pretty Sweater needs 450 to 1200 yards of DK yarn.
