Raindrops and Lollipops

Lollipops and Raindrops was released today!
It is written for 13 sizes from 6 months to 14 years and is suitable for DK weight yarns - what style will yours be?

We would love to hear what you think of Lollipops and Raindrops and what options you would choose for yours!

Lollipops and Raindrops Dress is part of the Sun and Sand collection that takes you on a journey to childhood places, carefree days, fragrant summers, best friends, sweet treats, and never ending wonders.

The dress is completely seamless and is worked from the top down.

My favorite part about this design is that it allows you to stash bust your leftover yarns, it is also great for showcasing your prized variegated skeins you have been hoarding for a long time. The dress is equally amazing in gradient or self-striping yarns.

I have used an amazing technique developed by Susie Myers, “contiguous set-in sleeves”, that allows shoulder shaping and body construction without the use of a single short row.

Note on yarn: the pattern is equally suitable for wool and cotton yarns or their blends.

Dress Length is measured from the underarm to where the back ends.

  2. Such a cute dress with a lot or room for variation. I'd have to decide between a rainbow theme or a lovely variegated colourway with lots of purple...well, my daughter would need to decide.

  7. I really love this pattern, I made one for my little one and a tiny version for our neighbor :D and both of the dresses were worn a lot and still are. I made both with boat neck and A-line skirt but Naomi keeps telling me mommy I love the dress with lots of colors :D and I have a few more planned, the options here are endless and all the results are equally adorable <3

  16. I love this pattern so much and it is such a great way to use scraps up. I think I'd love to do 2 bright rainbow ones for my twins. Colours such as Diva, Glacier, Fresh leaves, Pinktastic, Bleeding heart, lemon, mango, pirates treasure and ocean would look awesome! A variegated colourway like little mermaids and spring garden with trim would also be cool. Elena has so many colours to choose from it would be fun to make!
