Coral Skirt

People always ask me if Maya wears all of her skirts, and the answer is YES! Every single one of them! And she always asks for new skirts too…

Here is another skirt for my little dancing fishy…

The skirt is worked entirely in the round from top down.  It begins with a provisional cast on, which is used to allow for a knitted on waistband. There are two distinct sections in the skirt construction: a top portion that features a kangaroo pocket, and the bottom part that features ruffle upon ruffle.

Since children significantly vary in height, the skirt length is easily customizable.

Here is my latest installment for my Itty Bitty Pool ebook, a collection of fun, colorful, and unique skirts.

Please welcome Coral Skirt!
