All the designs are suitable for Colour Adventures yarns such as - Sweet Merino DK, Cloud DK or Dia DK or Dia Worsted.

Saffron

Saffron is a very girly and playful little shrug that features cute ribbed ruffles and a shaped body.
Saffron is completely seamless and is worked from the top down.
You can dress it up or make it very casual.

Saffron is sized from 12 months to 14 years.

The design needs 225 to 880 yds of DK yarn.

Saffron $5

Cinnamon

Cinnamon was inspired by a Japanese youth fashion show featuring tall collars and slim straight lines.

I really like the convertible collar idea as it can be hard to keep scarves on the little ones. Button it all up, and their neck is nice and warm while they are playing outside; button it down and it makes a great indoor clothing piece.

The cardigan is worked as a top down raglan and is completely seamless. Wide ribbing in this design gives this cardigan it’s elegant, slim, and modern look; and as a part of the “Spice Girls”, Cinnamon brings a little unique spice all of its own.

Cinnamon is sized from 12 months to 14 years.

Cinnamon requires 360 to 1000 yds of worsted weight yarns.

Cinnamon $6

Pepper

Pepper is a very playful and modern girl’s cardigan featuring cute pockets and simple lines.  It is a part of the “Spice Girls” series of cardigans designed for every day wear, and each one has a little unique spice of their own.

The cardigan has a very simple construction – top down raglan, and double seed stitch gives the cardigan its peppery texture. It can be knit in solid color or two colors for an extra contrast. There is a little bit of sewing required for the pockets and the collar, other than that it is completely seamless.

Pepper is sized for 12 months to 14 years.

Pepper requires 500 to 1700 yards of DK weight yarn.

Pepper $5

Allspice

Allspice is a very playful and very girly cardigan featuring cute ribbed or belled ruffles and ribbed texture throughout.  It is a part of the “Spice Girls” series of cardigans designed for everyday wear, each one with a little unique spice of their own.

Allspice is a variation of Saffron design; Allspice is worked from the top down, uses short rows to shape shoulders and set-in sleeves.  This cardigan has a different fit and construction as compared to Saffron which is a top down raglan shrug, but the overall look is similar.

The cardigan is completely seamless.

Allspice is sized from 3 months to 14 years.

Allspice is designed for DK yarns and requires 260 to 1100 yds.

**Allspice is more suitable for intermediate skilled knitter or a very adventurous advanced beginner**.

Allspice $6

Paprika

Paprika features some simple cables that look intricate but are very easy to execute, a hood, and interesting closures. It is completely seamless; it is knit from top down and requires very minimal finishing.  Paprika is worked flat apart from 2 rows to finish the sleeves.

I have used an amazing technique developed by Susie Myers, **contiguous set-in sleeves**, that allows shoulder shaping and creating set-in sleeves without using short rows.  Sleeves are worked at the same time as the rest of the vest.

Paprika is sized from 6 months to 14 years.

Paprika requires 310 to 1100 yards of DK weight yarn.

Paprika $7

Lavanda

Lavanda is worked as a top down raglan and is completely seamless. Several textures are combined in this design to give the cardigan a girly, elegant, and romantic look; and as a part of the “Spice Girls” series, Lavanda has a unique spice of its own.

Detailed instructions are given for how to invisibly incorporate raglan increases into the bodice rib pattern.

Links for tutorials for the Afterthought Pocket and Seed Stitch Grafting are included into the pattern.

Lavanda is sized from 12 months to 14 years.

Lavanda requires 475 to 1570 yds of worsted weight yarn.

Lavanda $6
