Summer Days is a fun little girly shrug/bolero, the one that you put on during those chilly early summer mornings and late summer evenings, or during those rainy spells that bring a bit of a chill to the air. Summer Days also makes a great layering piece to wear through the rest of the year.
This little shrug is completely seamless and is worked from the top down. I have used an amazing technique developed by Susie Myers, “contiguous set-in sleeves”, that allows set-in sleeves and shoulder shaping without using short rows. Sleeves are worked at the same time as the rest of the shrug/bolero.
Only the sleeve cuffs are worked using dpn’s or circular needles, the rest of the garment is worked flat.

Busy, busy, busy! An amazing collection. Hanging out for Cinnamon...
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI could not find a place where to ask this on Ravelry. It says, you can purchase Lavanda separately? How and where? I like Lavanda a lot, and want to knit one.
Please find me in Ravelry (Oranssi)or write back in my blog comments. Thanks.
Wow! You have been busy!!! I love your designs!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning collection, as usual! I love all your designs - you create not only beautiful patterns, but you have a good eye for colour, too.
ReplyDeleteOranssi,
ReplyDeleteOnce the pattern is added to ravelry it will be become available on its own.
Oh. My. God. Cinnamon. GASP! (Can't wait for the spice girls e-book! Love your work!)
