WILL THE NEXT ROUND COUNT AS ONE OF THE NEXT 8 ROUNDS OR DO I P1 K1 AND THEN START COUNTING THE 8 ROUNDS. I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP. LEEANN

I have completed the option 2 hat... My girl loves it too... Thanks for the sharing ;)
ReplyDeleteI really admire your designs and knitting skills. I wanted to knit a hat for my girl and instead of using the various block colours i stumbled across a self striping yarn (fair isle effect)...as it is my first hat as a beginner i was so amazed and excited at how it has turned out. My little girl loves it and wore it even with the sun out. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much!!!!
SSK anywhere else is slip/slip/knit - this is confusing for me, so I shall change it to slip/knit/psso before I print this. What size is 4mm in US, please? And where do I use the DPNs??? Thank you - this is a gorgeous hat and I have a gorgeous grand-daughter - and another grandbaby on the way (gender unknown at this moment LOL) so will be making many if I can sort this out.
ReplyDeletejeannie I think the needles in us are size 8; and you use the DPNS when the decreased size gets too small to handle on the circulars.
DeleteI hope this is helpful.
Size 4 mm needles are U.S. size 6.
